Art in Addis is a local social enterprise in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. We curate unique & social Art events intended to be recreational, safe and fun for people of all artistic levels to come together and enjoy. The core objective of Art In Addis is to promote and make art accessible to more communities in Ethiopia.

We are a social impact mission driven enterprise, meaning that we strive to bring about positive change through our business. We use art as a platform to empower, stimulate and unite people through each level of our operations. From our locally sourced materials, to our commitment to employ 100% local talent, to our mission towards shifting mindsets in the direction of positive understanding and uplifting of eclectic expressions & identities through art makes us unique.

We believe that art is a universal language and has the power to bring people together and can be a form of understanding different cultures and perspectives of life. Primarily, we host monthly wine and painting events that are lead by one of our experienced, young art instructors from different walks of life. We also host private events including birthday parties, baby showers, bachelor(ette) parties, team-bonding events and children’s events. Each of our painting events last between two and three hours. By the end of the sessions, each participant walks away with their masterpiece and an unforgettable experience.

In addition, we intend to work with public sector actors and other private businesses [in-partnership] to address Sustainable Development Goals impacting Ethiopia as part of our core values for bringing impact. Our services offer a great opportunity for socializing, enhancing artistic abilities, having fun, being creative and celebrating art in many dimensions.

We invite you to come out to our next Art In Addis event and engage with our team!
